UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORTING
Article: Helping children cope with stress during the 2019-nCov outbreak
Children communicate in different ways depending on their developmental level and their temperament or personality. Taking the time to try and understand what your child’s behaviour may be communicating (even if it seems like they are misbehaving) will help you be more sensitive to their experience of all the changes COVID-19 brings. When your child feels understood by you, they are more likely to feel and be calm.
